Shoot For The Stars Academy
Athletes ages 9-11 and 12-14 can join Coach John Thomas at the Shoot for the Stars Academy for elite basketball training focused on skill development, fundamentals, and conditioning. This program is designed for players who are working to make their school teams, are preparing for youth league and AAU, or want to sharpen their skills with high-level training. Coach John, a 15+ years of international pro, brings global techniques to help young athletes maximize their potential! $160/month, $200/month - Save $60! Includes 2 Academy days per week + Saturday Skill Clinic.

Saturday Skill Development Clinics
Athletes ages 7–9 and 9–13 can join Coach John Thomas for the Shoot for the Stars Clinic to build strong basketball fundamentals. With 15+ years of international experience, Coach John uses proven techniques to help young athletes grow. Classes are

Nike Basketball Camp - Auburn, AL
FIRST NIKE CHRISTMAS BASKETBALL CAMP IN AUBURN — DECEMBER 21–23
We’re excited to bring the first Nike Christmas Basketball Camp to Auburn, Alabama, December 21st–23rd!
Nike Basketball Camp Director John Thomas hosted his first Nike Basketball Camp in Auburn this past May with 86 campers in attendance. Following the success of that camp and securing a three-year position as a Nike Basketball Camp Director, we’re excited to bring Nike Basketball Camp back to Auburn for a special 3-day Christmas Camp.

All-Girls Academy
Training designed exclusively for young female athletes, focused on building confidence, fundamentals, and game understanding. Our All-Girls Academy creates a positive, encouraging environment where players can learn, grow, and challenge themselves while developing strong basketball skills and leadership.

Homeschool P.E. Academy
We’re excited to launch a brand-new Homeschool Basketball P.E. Program in Auburn this August! This structured, high-energy basketball program is built for homeschool students to learn, grow, and stay active. $100/month, 15% off each additional child and 10% off when registering for 2 or more months.

“A Ball of a Party” Birthday Packages
Do you have a child who loves basketball? Lets throw a basketball party! Coach John Thomas, who played international basketball for 15+ years, will be there to help you pull off a memorable event and game!
- Basic Package - $150: 2 hour time slot, tablecloths, cups and napkins.
- Pro Package - $200: 2 hour time slot, tablecloths, cups and napkins, adding either basketball activities with Coach Thomas or a Referee for Game Time!
- Standard Customized - $200: 2 hour time slot, tablecloths, cups and napkins, decoration using name, age, basketball theme, pennant garland, cake topper, small toppers, 4 pop corn boxes, balloons.
- Pro Customized - $250: 2 hour time slot, tablecloths, cups and napkins, decoration using name, age, basketball theme, pennant garland, cake topper, small toppers, 4 pop corn boxes, balloons; adding either basketball activities with Coach Thomas or a Referee for Game Time!

Who I am
Meet Coach John Thomas
JT Global Basketball was founded by John Thomas, a Beauregard, Alabama native, former professional basketball player, entrepreneur, and Nike Basketball Camp Director.
After a 16-year professional basketball career overseas, John retired in 2020 and returned home with his family to pour his experience, knowledge, and passion for the game into the next generation of athletes.
Since launching JT Global Basketball, John has continued to grow basketball development opportunities throughout the Auburn community through year-round academies, skill development, camps, homeschool programs, clinics, and special events. In 2026, he hosted his first Nike Basketball Camp in Auburn with 86 campers and secured a three-year position as a Nike Basketball Camp Director.
His mission is bigger than basketball — helping young athletes develop confidence, discipline, communication, consistency, and the mindset needed to succeed both on and off the court.

Key Milestones & Achievements
- 16-Year Professional Basketball Career (2004–2020) – Played professional basketball internationally for 16 years, gaining experience competing around the world.
- Founder of JT Global Basketball – Established JT Global Basketball and the Shoot For The Stars Basketball Development Programs to serve youth in Auburn and surrounding communities.
- Auburn Parks & Recreation Partnership – Partnered with the City of Auburn to offer year-round basketball academies, clinics, and camps focused on basketball development and life lessons.
- First Shoot For The Stars Summer Camp – Successfully hosted our first summer camp with 74 campers, establishing the foundation for continued growth.
- Three-Year Nike Basketball Camp Director Agreement (2026) – Earned a three-year agreement as a Nike Basketball Camp Director, bringing Nike Basketball Camps to Auburn, Alabama.
- First Nike Basketball Camp in Auburn (May 2026) – Successfully directed our first Nike Basketball Camp in Auburn with a record-breaking 86 campers.
- Three Successful Summer Camps (2026) – Hosted three major basketball camps, serving a combined 266 campers:
- May Nike Basketball Camp – 86 campers
- June Shoot For The Stars Summer Camp – 90 campers
- July Shoot For The Stars Back To School Camp – 90 campers
- Worked Alongside Nike Basketball Academy Director Sam Jones – Gained valuable coaching experience working alongside Sam Jones at Nike Basketball Camps in Fort Collins, Colorado.
- Worked Alongside NBA Trainer Lethal Shooter – Had the opportunity to work alongside renowned NBA shooting trainer and social media influencer Lethal Shooter at Nike Basketball Camps in Fort Collins, Colorado.
- Named Nike Basketball Camp Director in Fort Collins, Colorado (Summer 2027) – Selected to direct the Nike Basketball Camp in Fort Collins for Summer 2027, expanding our basketball development opportunities beyond Auburn.
- Continued Growth of JT Global Basketball – Expanded our year-round programs, including Shoot For The Stars Academy, All Girls Academy, Saturday Clinics, Homeschool P.E., and seasonal basketball camps.
